Really. What difference does it make? Nothing is going to change because it is exactly as the owners want it.

I agree in a way. But as it is, the person who was banned and who organizes the hate mongering group is going to be the next moderator. There are still a few decent people over there...would hate for her to have that much control over the board.

Martha is a very sweet poster who posts all the DEALS during the Christmas season and off & on during the year. She will make a fair and honest moderator.

But since you don't have an account it won't do any good. Some here post both places. 

How much information can a mod.see? Name, address, etc. 

Martha is definitely one of the best choices out of all the posters. I think she would do an excellent job. She has been a long time poster so I think she probably knows what to expect from the others. 

Moderator can only see the screen name and maybe the IP address. Only the admins can see email addresses. 

I would hate for the haters to run her off like they have anyone who doesn't agree or cater to them. 

I think Martha would be an excellent mod. I don't have an account over there so I can't vote.

I think all of the alts will come out and support another poster. 

They have already activated the phonetree...many names who haven posted from the cuckoo best have appeared tonight. I suspect many more during the night and tomorrow before ending time. 

I say, let them have it. This will be the end of KU. 

I just hate that there are still many nice people over there who will be run off if she is elected, they will just quit posting or quietly obliterate. 

I would expect more new/old people to come here. They are more than welcome to do whatever it is they will do with KU. Did Martha even volunteer or was her name just thrown in the hat? I can't imagine wanting to be a moderator there. Sounds like a terrible "job". If the nice people get run off there (sad), I hope they come here (happy). 

Who wants to be a part of that? The name calling, inappropriate pictures, sexual references, and attacks. The mods join in. I don't want to be a part of that. 

She said she agreed to take it if elected. I think she sees some hope left...I do too if they could get rid of the trolls. I doubt she can do that, but at least she would be fair and honest.

I would hope others would come here too, but certain nesters have spread rumors about how bad we are here.....whatever!

KDC is great, you would not believe the gift cards I have won there:) And the owner does not tolerate any hate. It would be bad for business. The business supporters there offer gift cards and free services all the time for special promotions. 

I think many of the trolls that are on KU are the rejects from KDC. They got booted off over there.

Yeah, it would be hilarious if Sassy was elected - but since DP and Martha are in the lead, I don't think Sassy will make it. But it's fun to see her on the list. :-)

They had to have an election because the idiots harassed tinman and he blew his top & obliterated. Didn't bother to resign, just hit the delete me button.

So, rather than the 2 mods continuing by themselves, they decided to add another and didn't want to just pick one out of the hat. They threw it up for a vote, all of the CN came out in force to get her elected as mod, using all their alter IDs, but Martha won fair and square.

People like her because she doesn't attack other posters, she doesn't pride herself on being mean, rude and crude, she's sweet and kind to all. Rarely does she get her feathers ruffled and she never puts other posters down or 'in their place'.

IMO she is just right for the job - but I pray the CN gang of thugs don't drive her off. She may be too sweet for the job.

I do know that Joe loves to have new members. But if you are vulgar, harass someone, or are just nasty in general, he will delete your account, and you will not sign back on, nor will you have more than one account.
