So, yesterday I was in a good mood from reading 'Desiderada' again. While taking the dogs to 'coffee', we were stopped at a red light on Lake Houston. I glanced over to the car next to us and noticed a woman tapping on her window and looking toward the rear of her car. In the back seat was a beautiful young lady (about 1.5-2 years old) looking at Maddie, who was sitting on the console.

Bernie was sitting in the shotgun seat and I said, "Bernie, look at the baby." He stood up on the door opener ledge and glanced at the kid, whose whole face was a smile at seeing two little white dogs.

Then I slid my hand over to Bernie's right paw and lifted it with a hidden finger, using a 'waving' motion. The kid, having seen a dog 'waving' at her, really lit up in smiles and laughter!

Sometimes it is the littlest things in life that give us the largest appreciation for His creations! 

That's pretty darn cool!! What kind of little white doggies do you have?

I had Belle's book 90% complete when she passed. The book was titled 'Living With Bernie'.

Belle's passing caused me to retire the manuscript.

I am taking notes on Maddie's actions for her sequel. Just started outlining the sequence.
