I've been lucky I guess that our previous animals died naturally. Today was the first time I had to make that decision. I've known for 2 weeks but dang I feel terrible about the whole thing. 

That is never easy, had a Siamese a long time ago that we had to put down...hated it. 

That's is sad. It hurts so much when you lose a pet, they are a family member and loved so much.

As difficult as it was, the decision was best for your cat.

This had to be an awfully difficult decision to make and I'm sorry you had to go through it, however; I'm sure you did the right thing.

Watching our pets suffer after giving us so many years of loving / faithful companionship is heartbreaking. 

So sorry for your loss! Having pets in our life is one of the greatest pleasures AND heart breaks we can go through..
