Do you have a Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamp in your home or at work?

I saw them at the new Kroger in Kingwood on sale for $19.00 so had to pick one up. We have it all set up and plugged in. It sure does look pretty. It is suppose to purify the air, the glow reduces stress and depression, and finally, they can help relieve symptoms of asthma,sinus and allergy.

I will tell you it is as calming and relaxing as if a fireplace was burning. Such a beautiful warm glow!

I think I will go back to pick one up for our bedroom to use as a nightlite. (we have to have a nightlite so we can find our way if we get up in the night...that is how i knew i was getting old) 

That sounds cool...may have to pick one up 

Well I use himalayan salt for my horses....didn't know it was made into lamps. 

I have a friend who uses a couple of them in her house. She thinks they work. 

GA, I know you can't do scents but does that include essential oils? 

afwife, i use essential oils in the defusser (or infuser) and they do not bother him or me. not what i use anyway.
