Several have been asking about my back surgery date. It is March 26th. I am looking forward to eventually getting rid of this pain.

Please mark it on your calendar to pray for me to be calm, the surgeons hands to be guided and for GPA to know everything will be okay after I get off the morphine. 

Prayers for a quick recovery and for you to be pain free.

There are so many success stories with back surgery and the way surgery is done now is so different than in the past, not near as invasive incisions. I know you will do well, you are healthy & strong and have a upbeat attitude.

Prayers for sure.

heading over to The Woodlands for pre surgery tests. sure hope i pass because forgot to study.

then another dr appmt this afternoon with another dr in The Woodlands.

trees are laden with ice. sure hope they will remain standing while i make these trips to and from. 

any word if you passed your tests?

well, the primary care said all is go and i passed all the tests but before i got home, the surgeon call the house and told Pat they were calling in antibiotics for me and i was to get started on them tonight. probably my pee had bacteria. lol

i am scheduled for surgery at 7:00am in the morning. just perfect for am prayers from the early risers. the surgery will take about 3 hrs. i will be out of it tomorrow and like a zombie. :) 

GA, I'm an early riser so you're apt to walk into (or be wheeled into) one of my prayers tomorrow morning.

Know that we've got your back and you'll be home soon, all healed up and ready to "get er' done" ... 

thank you so much, Pepper! i really appreciate that. all i have to do is pack my bag, go to bed, get up at 4:30 and leave the house at 5:00am. easy peasy. the rest up to the good Lord above and his surgeon/staff. i think i will be in really good hands. have not decided if i want to take my laptop or not. it is old and heavy. i will holler when i get home though (should be Fri, Sat, or Sun. :)
