No, I'm not afraid - the ship is probably the cleanest it's been since it was first launched. I'm taking hand wipes, sanitizer, bleach pop-ups. I'll be just fine.

Well, we are stuck in port because the fog is so thick you can't even see the water below. They closed the ship channel to in and out going ships. Will leave when the fog lifts...hopefully tomorrow. Otherwise we are on a floating hotel that we can't get off of. 

Crazy Oma! Once you leave where are you headed? 

With my luck it will be a 3 hour cruise to a lagoon with Gilligan.

When we leave we should head to Cozumel, Belize, Roatan (Honduras). We well probably skip a port since we are leaving so late.

Pea soup......it's thick as pea soup!

They say we are leaving at 1 pm and we are skipping Cozumel, going to Costa Maya instead. Bummer, I was looking forward to our excursion called Salsa Salsa. I did that last year with my friend, but wanted to learn to dance the salsa with my hubby. Also learn to make the salsa and Margaritas....it was a fun, fun excursion. Maybe next time. 

Fingers crossed that you get to depart this afternoon.....what a bummer!!

Just got word over the speaker....fog is lifting and we have clearance to leave at 12:30. The pilot boat is on its way to guide us out the channel.

Once we are underway I'll be turning my internet off mostly. May or may not purchase the internet package...haven't decided yet. If not, then I'll see y'all in a week.

Had a blast, weather was fantastic - a little hotter than in previous trips, but not too bad, maybe low 80's, but it was sure warmer than here when we left. I got to wear shorts and thin t-shirts, flipflops, sit out on the balcony watching the world go by. Shopped in Costa Maya & Cozumel, ate a Belizean lunch to the music of a Miranda band after visiting the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. I didn't climb to the top - DH did. Even though I got an injection in my knees before going, they would not hold up to the 130 foot assent to the top of the main structure, El Castillo.

In Cozumel, DH and I did the SalsaSalsa excursion. We learned to make salsa & margaritas, then learned to dance the salsa.....too much fun.

Lots of delicious food on the ship, I'm sure I blew my diet, but who cares, I'll restart tomorrow.

In 2015 we are planning a cruise to Alaska with our good friends up in Huntsville. I'm sure that will be a blast also. I now want to do cruises to the Eastern Caribbean and then a transAtlantic cruise, maybe one to & from Hawaii. I'm going to have to get a couple of jobs to pay for all my 'wants'. :-)

OK ---- 7:15 and I think I'm all caught up. I've been up since 5:00 this morning and I'm going to check Facebook, brush my tooth and head for bed in a bit.
