Yum O. We had chicken tostadas. Boring but lots of veggies. The kids had an apple too.

I was on my way home from getting a mani pedi and needed to stop and pick up something for dinner....HEB grabbed me, I love their seafood department. I had to make myself stop buying....LOL

I just had beans, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I would much rather be eating French bread!!!

Wow....I love it when I make something and the DH actually eats everything I've prepared......I love that man with every fiber of my being but he is soooooooo picky!!!

Dinner was a success and I'm stuffed!!

WOW --- Sounds delicious Froggie. FF and Smoochie - yours sounded good, but Froggies was my kind of food. Yummmmm

I went to a wine tasting party at our friend's house at the lake. After the wine tasting they served some chicken chili and some shrimp with rice & peas dish. They were both good, bland but good - I liked the chicken chili best but it had a heaping amount of cinnamon in it and made it weird. Don't know that I would have put any cinnamon at all, but if I used their recipe I'd cut way back on the cinnamon.

The wines? They were just ok - very expensive NAPA wines, but I've tasted much cheaper wines that were better. But the party was neat. If anyone is interested in throwing a wine tasting party, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the girl doing them. She did a very nice presentation.

Now home and plan to watch the news and go to sleep.

I bought it at a store downtown, at a place called The Fresh Market. It is kind of a cross between Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. It was in the froze section. It was okay, nothing to write home about, but I think the next time I make some, I will take out the chick peas, because I think that is what made it a little on the bland side.

I prefer my wine in a box. I am just classy like that.

Actually there are some decent box wines, Black Box is the best. But I can't drink much wine anymore.....causes too much stomach distress.

But, I drink primarily Moscato and I find that the Gallo Moscato is a pretty decent wine and it's less than $5.00 a bottle. You can buy the giant bottle for about $7.00. I've had some expensive wines in my days, usually bought by someone else, and they aren't much better than the cheap wine.

And, in the end they all end up in the same place................the toilet!!!!
