Froggie --- 11 years ago -

I'm picking up the grand frog tomorrow and we will be staying in. Then I'm going to let the grand frog earn some money by helping me take down the Christmas decorations.

I'm sure she will have other plans like mani pedi's...oops already did that last weekend. Next on her list is shopping....nix that idea, we just had Christmas. Then it's baking pies with grandpa....oops already did that too. Poor girl, I guess she will just have to enjoy the "old folks".

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Somehow I don't feel sorry for her.

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

Actually she's a pretty cool little munchkin...she is happy regardless of where she is or what she is doing. She will be 12 in February, I'm hoping she doesn't grow out of the "I wanna go spend time with Momma ____". Fill in the blank with my granny name.

Good times!!!

AngieKaye --- 11 years ago -

same staying home as usual. Cant stand crowds and hate drunk even more. People are too scarey now adays. Gonna stay here, invite the kids to celebrate with us.

Hibernating until daylight on 1/1. Too many crazy people out on the roads.

AMEN!

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Froggie I know she's a wonderful girl. I also know that she gets the royal treatment. It's great :). One of my favorite things about y'all is how deeply you love each other and your family. It warms my heart.

Today we are hanging wire on fence. The kids are staying in and doing school work them watching movies. It's too cold with the wind for them to be out.

Tonight, we are staying in and keeping in horses and dogs up due to the noise. We will kiss at midnight (and probably more!).

Smoochie and the Bean --- 11 years ago -

Well, me, my husband, and one of our kids are sick. All of our wonderful plans are flying out the window. Kid #2 is heading to the doctor right now.

Ex-Lady In Blue (Admin) --- 11 years ago -

That stinks, Smoochie! Hope they get better, soon. Plan on staying in as we have no desire to fight the drunks on the road, and we will probably be trying to calm dogs and cats, because of the fireworks. :-/

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

We got one section of fence up, about 215'. Praise God. This wire fence is so difficult because you have to strip the wire to wrap it around the post and tie it to itself on the ends before you pull it with the come along. Anyways, it is labor intensive and a pain in the butt. Tomorrow we have 230' of posts to set and a few trees to cut down for the fence. We will probably strip and splice wire too so all we have to do on Thursday is hang. I'll be so glad when it's done. So tired.

TexasOma (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

Honey - I'm tired for you.

I promise to never complain about being tired when I work 3 patients and cook supper. You work 10 times harder than I do.

But, on the brighter side - better to get it done now in the cool weather than to wait until the heat sets in. I can't imagine doing all that in the 90 degree heat.

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

No kidding Oma...that young lady can work circles around us!!!

We are all settled in, me, my DH and our grand frog. Tomorrow I enlist the help of the grand frog together these Christmas decorations put away!!!

Yay!!!

Happy New year to you one and all!!

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

HNY!!!

We are so glad it is cold and not hot. When DH goes back to work I have to finish priming and painting the barn. I also need to put rust inhibitor on the roof. I have the primer and rust inhibitor but need paint. We are trying to get as much done as we can while it's cold out. Better than sweating our butts off.

Y'all need to come visit because you will be shocked at how much we have left to do. It's not pretty. Or, you could come and I could put you to work :) Hint Hint.

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

Oma.....we have promised her a visit, we need to take that road trip on out there sometime soon!

Good night, all! (:-)

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

Nighty nite AMan!!

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Night Aman.

Froggie let me know ahead of time and I'll be sure to have some work ready :)

Glad we put the horses in their stalls tonight because the fireworks are nuts.

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

Getting going here too, little man Hudson is sucked up to my neck already.

Uhhhhh --- Froggie - we need to wait until all that work is done - she may really put us to work and I'm allergic to work - it makes me tired.

I have not forgotten the visit. It seems the end of the year has been very topsy-turvy for me. Can't pinpoint exactly why it's been so busy, but it has. I've got the Star Wars tent ready to go, just need to get this year behind me and clean my truck so I won't be embarrassed for you to ride in it. They royal chariot must be clean for the Froggie Lady!!!

Good night A-man - wishing you a peaceful night and a happy new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL HERE ON KU2.

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Y'all will have to come in February so you can see puppies :)

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

Puppies????? Squeeeeeeee!!!!

I love little puppies!!

And Oma, you are too sweet my friend, just be sure to install the mink seat covers too, m'kay?

= P

TexasOma (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

I was going to surprise you with the sable covers....I'm getting a seat warmer installed especially for you since we will be traveling in the winter.

February sounds great. DH and I are going on a cruise the first week of February, then I foresee my life calming down tremendously. Work wants me to pick up some patients, but I'm resisting that suggestion. I'm happy with my 4 patients and my very light work.

That will give me time to get the seat warmer installed too. Is there anything else I need to modify the Frog chariot? :-) I can install a champagne bar but stock it with wine.

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Install a shower. She will need it after she works her frog butt off :)

Yes puppies. You won'tbelieve how cute they will be. Can't wait until they are here!!

I'll see y'all in February :)

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

W.O.R.K??

Isn't that a four letter word, I'm not sure I know of that thing you are speaking of.

Oma....wine would be lovely.....red of course. Don't forget the Waterford wine glasses, I know you won't.

= ]

TexasOma (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

Absolutely --- only the best for the Froggie Princess --- as long as I don't have to kiss the frog - ick!!!!

WORK? ouch, that hurt my feelings. I think I'll have to get a lawyer and sue for for hurting my feelings. ouch!!!!!

I'll have to get water with a lemon for me.....no more wine for this old lady!!!

Froggie --- 11 years ago -

It's ok Oma, I'll drink your share! I'm just that kind of friend....

= ]

FabFive --- 11 years ago -

Ok well you sissies just come out and hang out ;) I'll make a veggie tray and we can get down to business LOL.

Can't wait to see y'all. Who else is on board?

AuthorMan (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

OK- what did I miss last night?

BTW- DW is running her half marathon as I type.

TexasOma (Mod) --- 11 years ago -

Don't do half marathons, not even whole marathons....that would mean exercise....I'm allergic to exercise, just like I'm allergic to work.

You didn't miss much - I feel asleep long before the new year came around. Guess I'm just too old!!!

Pepper --- 11 years ago -

I'm just going to loaf around the house today, but on Saturday I'm leaving for Kansas to go deer hunting with my son in Missouri.

The forecast up there next week is for snow (lots of it) and single digit temperatures in the morning.

I suspect sitting in his treestand for 4 days will be a bone chilling experience! Hopefully he'll tag out early and we can head back to his house in Kansas.
