One million Veterans are planning a walk on Washington DC to protest against this incredibly corrupt administration and how they are treating American vets since the US government shutdown began and what is happening to America. While Barack Obama has come out on the attack against US War Veterans, Americans are getting angry and getting organized. A going viral facebook page has been set up for the march, which coincidentally will be held on October 13th, 2013, the last day of a truckers shutdown America protest in DC as well. Two video reports about the march and protests also below.

A new rally is forming, “Million Vet March On The Memorials” that will be held 9am October 13, 2013 at the war memorials in Washington D.C.

The group is fed up with veterans being used as political pawns and are calling all patriots to attend, via their facebook page:

I really really wish I could afford to march in my granddads honor with them!!! My papa was a bombardier in WWII. Actually rode on top of the bombs in the planes when they were dropped on japan.

My other papa was in the army and fought hand to hand combat against them. It would be such an honor if I could :(

I didn't hear much about the truckers. I was helping my sister to find a new car (no luck) again and didn't see much of the news. However, I did catch where Obama had the memorial closed to the vets so the union could visit it. Why would the vets have to sit there and watch while the union took their time visiting it. Why does the WH hate the vets so much? So dishonorable for the white house to do that. 

the vets ended up going around the barricades and went in. People also broke down the barricades in-front of the Lincoln memorial and went in there as well.

These monuments belong to the PEOPLE not the Government so therefore its illegal for them to ban us from them! We already paid for them!

Closing the memorials costs us more money than keeping them open! I feel so bad for our veterans! Just another slap in the face from this president! 

Lots of what they are doing to make this shut down seem bad, they are having to pay for with our money. It just does not seem right that they are shutting down things that do not cost any money to leave open. And, to close places that make money is just stupid. 

yep. Have you wondered how they got those special closed signs posted so fast? Or they fact they were printed and ready for the fist day of the shut down???

this was all planned, its all apart of O's plan to become king. 

Wish my husband could have gone. He is an Iraq veteran and isn't too happy about the closings.
