Tomorrow is trash pick-up day in Mills Branch Village.

Be sure to have your trash cans out by the curb no later than 8:00 a.m. (7:00 a.m. if you live in AuthorMan's neighborhood on Wednesdays and Saturdays).

Can I bring all my junk to your house for your heavy trash pick up? Ours isn't for 2 more weeks.

We've been cleaning up the place at the lake and bring it down here to put in our garbage can and heavy trash stack. The previous owners up there had all kinds of chemicals in the garage, so a couple months ago we loaded that up and I hauled it to the Chemical recycle off 59 & 610.

They charge us enough for our water/sewer/trash bill, might as well get our money's worth. I don't have much here to toss out, so I using my share for getting rid of stuff up there. Won't be much longer until that place is cleaned up & we'll be back to paying high rates for absolutely nothing.

I know my first wife would disagree with this and my current wife would be on the fence, but hey;

I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last year (insert smiley face here)!!! 

LOL ya'll are lucky! we have the COH here, our big trash pickup is every 2nd wednesday...but they never hardly get it on Wednesday! Sometimes yes, sometimes Thursday or Friday...

We had to look at a neighbors entire garage outside for over a month! What ever happened to those fines the city was supposed to impose for putting your garbage out too early? 

we have the COH here, our big trash pickup is every 2nd wednesday...but they never hardly get it on Wednesday! Sometimes yes, sometimes Thursday or Friday... Ours is CoH and also on 2nd Wednesday of the month, alternating heavy trash with tree waste. They ALWAYS make it on Wednesday and they even pick up after themselves if they make a bit of a mess. We have a pretty good crew that does our area.

We had to look at a neighbors entire garage outside for over a month! What ever happened to those fines the city was supposed to impose for putting your garbage out too early? Our neighbors took down a wood fence and the City did not pick it up on tree waste week, they left it. So, we had to look at the huge pile for a whole month until heavy trash day rolled around. Unfortunately the neighbors didn't realize that even though it was wood, the city wouldn't pick it up because of the nails in the wood. Thankfully, it's gone now.  

They do make it some months on wednesday, dont know if issues of needing a second truck or what. but its not unusual for it to be a couple of days late.

I printed out the schedule little 2x3 piece of paper, and its on my fridge so I can look back to see what month is what :)
