Gotta get ready to go to the 'old farts' coffee at Javaman in Atascocita. 

Shhhhh ---- I have a headache and the sun is shining to brightly in here. Draw the drapes and turn off the noise!!! Shhhhh!!!!!




Plan to say hydrated, gotta do some outdoor stuff today. I'll work a bit, come in & cool off & drink water. But I gotta get my outdoor stuff done cause the weeds just seem to enjoy this hot, hot weather and the rain makes the weeds grow faster than the grass.

Still there...I pretty much live with a headache - but you gotta keep on trudging on.

Now I'm dealing with poison ivy. I have not touched or been around poison ivy, I know precisely what the plant looks like so I can avoid it. Either the dogs somehow found a patch and shared it with me or the old feller who mans the burn pile on the peninsula had some poison ivy vines in the mess. All the neighbors bring their stuff to his pile to be burned, so that is a strong likely-hood, especially since it's on my arms and my back.

I'm using the NCIS remedy - baking soda & vinegar paste. If it's good enough for Gibbs & Timothy, then it's good enough for me. I did buy some Ivy Dri today, if the paste doesn't work then I'll do the Ivy Dri. So far the paste has worked.
