Cicero's 'great appealer', or Mencken's 'moron', or Both?

Found an interesting blog article on the American Thinker. From the article I find two quotes that so apply today.

From Cicero, over 2100 years ago talks of being aware of the traitor within. "For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague."

We have that with Obama.

Again, we have this with Obama.

Last night we were watching a series on the Military Channel (it has a new name now but don't know it) It was a documentary on the rise is Hitler. Every turn of the way with is take over of Germany I kept saying - This is Obama. Why do the low information voters (LIV) with an educations not see the similarities? Why can they not see what Obama is doing to our country? I can understand the LIV who have no education not getting it, not seeing it - they are only interested in getting their gimmes, but what's in it for those who have a brain to think with?
