Obama plans 'serious conversation' with Shinseki

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama said Friday he plans to have a "serious conversation" with Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki about whether he can stay in his job as the agency head apologized for the systemic problems plaguing the veterans' health care system.

Eric Shinseki has resigned! He was not fired, he was allowed to resigned. Why? I wonder what position in this administration we will find him in later this year. 

Also, I wonder how much of a severance he is getting. 

As Vietnam vet who relies on the VA for my healthcare, I sure feel better .... NOT!!

He should have been fired and stripped of any pension he would have been entitled to as the head of the VA, but not his military pension.

Obama let him take the easy way out so he could collect whatever pension he accrued (not earned) as the VA Chief ... at the expense of the taxpayer.
