The main election is May 27th, day after Memorial Day. 

I voted at noon today and as I exited the library, there was a City of Houston employee announcing that he was going to remove all of the political signs that were bigger than 2' X 2'.

I asked him for the ordinance associated with his actions and he directed me to a woman in the library, who was conveniently in a 'meeting' for several hours.

To stir the pot more, I went out and asked the COH employee for documents supporting his actions. He said the city could do whatever it wanted to on it's property. I reminded him that, ultimately, taxpayers like me were the ultimate owners of that property. He got irate that I was taking pictures of him and he pulled away.

I went back an hour later and he, and the larger signs, were gone. No cop cars, though.

One of the Tea Party reps on the site told me that it was the library person who requested that the larger signs be removed.

What a crock! 

It is a crock, but CoH is primarily a liberal bureaucracy and they can do whatever they want - to hell with us citizens. It must gall them that Kingwood is conservative. 

thats BS! they have had huge signs there for months now and just now they dont want them??? No wonder people can't find a way to vote or know there is an election going on!

Just returned from voting; no signs over the unsightly 2' X 2' size! I know the smaller signs made my voting experience much more pleasant! (sarcasm)
