Here is what I think your tree is that we were discussing.

Acer Nigrum (Black Maple) tree




It is not native to this area, but that doesn't mean it won't grow here. I found some sites that show the bark and it looks similar to me.

But --- it could also be a Acer Rumbrum (Red Maple)
Red Maple tree It has the red stem like the one you gave me.


 

Here is the images of Poison Sumac.

I was wrong - the map shows Poison Sumac to be in our area...good thing it never has found me.

And here are the poison plants pictures - Ivy, Oak, Sumac -- and one I've never heard of. Avoid these stupid plants!!! 

My tree gets blooms like those in the picture of the Black Maple.

As soon as we pull it together...is there a day that won't work for you next week (or the week after)? GA's is Monday & mine is Tuesday. Monza hasn't said and haven't heard from others.

If it's just the 4 of us, that will work 2...as long as Monza doesn't throw that sawdust at me. 

I am having a little outpatient surgery on Monday the 12th, I'm sure I will be sidelined for a few days after that but if it works out, I'd love to join in!

Italian (ie Italiano's -- Carrabba's is too expensive IMO)

Sushi (JoJo's on 59--they have other Chinese foods there too)

Cracker Barrel

Luby's

Culver's (they have great burgers)

Whataburger (I always love their burgers)

Smashburger (had my first a month ago - it was good) - it's in the new Kroger center

A Chinese fastfood but I don't know it's name right next to Smashburger

There is also a Carl's Jr & Panera Bread in that same center

Zachary's in the Randall's Center

Pei Wei in the Randall's Center


If any of you have other choices, please throw them out for consideration. Only thing I ask is that when we get the list narrowed down, please let's discussing final details in PMs. If anyone else is interested in join us, please speak up.
