Need to finish painting the barn, prime and paint the new dog palace, and finish out a few more things on them. Also need to buy posts and set them plus hang wire for the puppy palace. Puppies and Mama have to be separated from the big dogs for safety reasons :)

Hopefully all that gets done today. Tomorrow brings new fun :)

Gotta cut hay while the sun is shining. We have so much to get done it is overwhelming.

You exhaust me just reading what's on your list for today...OY!

My list consists of taking our oldest granddaughter shopping for her 12th birthday. I like my list better.....just sayin'

when you are done can you come help me? I got a bug up my rearend and decided to tear all the carpet out of my bed room! Then cleaned and mopped the house today... tomorrow I will tackle the yard! Finally a weekend off to myself..

FabFive --- 8 years ago -

I got the dog palace primed and two coats of paint. Got more brush cleaned up and taken to the fire pit. Finished painting the barn. DH is working on getting the people door on the puppy palace. I guess tomorrow is the PP fence. I think Monday I'm going to try to paint the barn roof before it gets too hot to get up there. Fun times.

Angie I've pulled up my fair share of carpet. I hate that stuff! Once we pulled all our carpet out our allergies went way down. That stuff is so gross. What are you gonna replace it with ?

Pepper --- 8 years ago -

Good Lord, where do you get all this energy?

I'm pooped out just reading what you did ....

Froggie --- 8 years ago -

I'm pooped too Pepper....I went shopping with the birthday grandDD...OY! My feet AND my pocketbook hurts!!

But it was worth every penny/second!

haven't made up my mind just yet. Thinking tile something pretty. Most the stuff in my room is dark wood so really wanna stay away from wood.

just gotta get the energy and will to take apart my huge bed and try to get the carpet under it! This house was built in 1978 and i swear thats how old the carpet was! ICKY! you never know how dirty and old it is til you start pulling it up. Heck even a steamer or dyson wouldn't of cleaned all that dust.

My husband was even say he wanted carpet back in there! ARGH he's the reason I pulled it out, he has asthma and its been getting worse lately. Now I only have one room with carpet and thats the computer room. But need carpet in there for sound echo.

Definitely don't put carpet back down. Tile is good if you go with a dark grout.

So DH and I discussed the plan. Tomorrow is putting up pp trim after I paint it, then setting posts and hanging wire.

Monday I'm doing the barn roof and he's adding a couple steps/deck to thw front of the barn where it goes in to the tack room/feed room.

I have more tricks up my sleeve for later this coming week. Mainly taking old fence to the recycling place, lighting up the burn pile and chopping wood.

Oldest DD gets her braces Thursday so that's definitely a day off. Maybe Weds too. Maybe. This is such a valuable time of year where the weather is nice I don't want to squander it.

I agree, I am gonna try to get in the yard tomorrow and start prepping the flower beds. I am determined to have my yard pretty again. being so busy these last few years working I haven't spent time at all in them :( I have one flower bed in the back yard that me and my deceased friends son built. He was only 3 and helped me dig and plant, now take it most the dirt ended up flying around and on top of his head but that is my memory garden now. Think of my Logan everytime I get my hands dirty in it. In fact the iris's he put in the ground are about to bloom :)

I am really hoping by this summer my work is cut in half. Husband really wants me to stop working period, doesn't like that i am a "servant" LOL as he puts it. I dont look at it that way though Love my work and absolutely adore my clients... I feel like family.

Oh Angie what a sweet story.

I really dislike gardening and any type of lawn care. The horses now for us. The prior owners did not maintain the grass properly but that is a project we will start in the fall through next year.

DH is currently hanging the gate for the puppy palace. We are going to try to get all the fence done for it tonight. Tomorrow will be deck and roof rust inhibitor.
