Yesterday at 2:15 I turned to the Weather Channel for the radar. Those idiots seem to always have some stupid program on and forget about the 8's.

Well, I decided it was ok to do my 5 miles while curling my 10 pound weights.

When I turned around at the water tower, the sky to the south of me was BLACK!

The trip home was filled with torrential rain, very close lightening and trees trying to fall on me. Plus, the dogs were pissed at me for not being there for them when the 'boom boom' hit. When I finally got home, I blocked the weather channel!

I got caught in the same storm, except I was almost at Krogers when it hit. I have weatherbug on my phone and on my iPad......I just wasn't smart enough to check either.

Weather channel is just not great about local stuff. Poor puppies!

My water bill is loving this rain!! Dogs.....not so much. I get the "boom boom" thing here too. Poor googies (as my grand DD called it), I wear a little Yorkie scarf when it's bad outside, like right now.

Yup- got 1,500 reps with each arm. When I can do 6.5 miles, it becomes 2,000 reps. (20 tons total).
